Outreach

St. David of the Hills Episcopal Church is home to Christians of many denominations. As a part of its numerous ecumenical relationships, the Episcopal Church (ECUSA) is in an interactive relationship with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). If you have been a member of an ELCA congregation, St. David of the Hills Episcopal Church can provide a church home for you in Teller County.

Habitat for Humanity of Teller County

Habitat for Humanity of Teller County was started by members of St. David of the Hills Episcopal Church and continues to be supported by members of the parish. A number of members serve on Habitat boards and committees. The Board of Directors meets in our Parish Hall on the first Tuesday of each month; other committees utilize our space as well. St. David of the Hills Episcopal Church has received two awards as The Habitat Church of the Year.

Woodland Park Community Cupboard

Generosity is the keyword when it comes to members sharing non-perishables with the Woodland Park Community Cupboard, the local food pantry. Members and visitors alike drop off items that are delivered to the pantry on a regular basis. In addition, the church provides storage space for the pantry.

Diocese and Regional Tithe

We are pleased that we have been able to tithe 12% of all monetary donations given to St. David of the Hills Episcopal Church. Our tithe supports the work of the regional, state, and national church. Schools, seminaries, missions, and educational projects all benefit from these gifts
